Did you know that the listening to joyful music is good for your heart? According to a study released last year from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, the emotions aroused by joyful music have a healthy effect on blood vessel function.
Local organizations will be sharing holiday cheer in the form of caroling all month long at the Timbers of Shorewood, an independent and assisted living retirement community located at 1100 N. River Road, Shorewood. Audiences will enjoy the holiday music, and get healthier, all at the same time.
