The Timbers of Shorewood retirement community hosts a variety of events and activities every day, most of which are open to seniors in the Joliet, Shorewood and Plainfield area. Our roster of performers and guests include first class musicians and entertainers, award-winning authors and artists, healthcare experts and even local elected officials - to name just a few.

Children of all ages and their families are invited to our 9th annual egg hunt, featuring more than 10,000 and games and entertainment galore.

The Dennis Colby Trio will revisit the great musical moments created from the 1940s through the 1960s in this free concert.

Mel and Gary, who love the good old days of the juke-box, will bring back memories from Elvis to show tunes, and country to Rat Pack.

With a passion for songs of yesteryear, Steve has developed a specialty for entertaining seniors, putting a modern edge on classic greats.

Known as the “saxophone player with the great voice,” Finn has a repertoire over over 1,000 popular songs.

Violinist Henrik Karapetyan will perform a combination of classical and folk violin pieces. He has been playing for more than 20 years.

Robert Hart will lead an informational seminar on how veterans and their spouses may be eligible for benefits through Aid and Attendance.
Thursday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m.
Larry Levin, or the "One Man Band," delivers sounds of a six-piece orchestra on his keyboard to perform ballads, ballroom, swing and rock.
