The Timbers of Shorewood will host a summer car and bike show for the public at noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2019 in the front parking lot at the retirement community, 1100 N. River Road, Shorewood. The public is invited to this free event. Registration for the car and bike show begins at 10 a.m., and it free to show cars and bikes.
On display will be a variety of antique, classic, custom cars and bikes. Attendees can purchase food on-sight from Happy Belly Catering and Nothing Bundt Cakes. In addition, Have A Heart Dog Rescue & Adoption will be at the car show with rescued dogs available for adoption.
“It’s a great opportunity to maybe meet your new four legged family member, while checking out some classic cars and motorcycles,” said Linda McCluskey, Director of Activities.
The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments as well as a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
