Career Opportunities at the Timbers of Shorewood

Resident Care Assistants

Our resident care assistants are compassionate and professional individuals who collaborate with staff to provide the personalized care and dignified attention to the people we serve. Responsibilities range from assisting residents with daily tasks such as personal laundry, dressing, hygiene, grooming and bathing. CNA certification is required.

Dining Room Server

The dining room servers at the Timbers of Shorewood certainly are  “people persons” with a ready smile and who enjoy the company of our senior residents. Responsibilities include taking orders from residents from a menu with more than forty scrumptious choices, knowing residents’ names, bussing tables, and serving with a smile.

Housekeeping

We look for understanding and sociable housekeeping candidates who take pride in their work and pleasure in a clean, sparkling home for our residents. The ideal applicant will be meticulous about the cleanliness, comfort and safety for our residents, employees and the public.

Maintenance

The Timbers seeks skilled maintenance candidates who take pride in keeping the building and its apartments in fine working order and who enjoy helping others. Responsibilities include both routine and extensive preventive maintenance and repair procedures on all building equipment. (Major repairs will be performed under supervision from licensed maintenance workers.)

Second Shift Houseman

The Houseman is responsible for general maintenance duties, cleanliness of public spaces, room setup, emptying trash, assisting housekeepers, and other duties as needed.  Must be able to communicate effectively, and able to work independently or as part of a team.  Reports to the Housekeeping supervisor.

Front Desk Receptionist

Front Desk Receptionist position is available for evenings / 2nd shift, weekends, and overnights.
