Driven by Dedication: Timbers Transportation Coordinator Diane Pfoser celebrates 20 years and still rolling

The Timbers of Shorewood, an award-winning senior living community known for its exceptional employee retention, proudly announces the 20-year work anniversary of Diane Pfoser. As the community’s Transportation Coordinator, Pfoser has been an integral part of the activities department.

Primarily known as the friendly face behind the wheel, Pfoser’s main role is driving the community’s bus and van, ensuring residents can get to their appointments and outings safely. When she’s not on a route, she can be found in the Activities office, contributing to the vibrant life of the community.

“Diane is an invaluable member of our team and a perfect example of the dedication we see every day at The Timbers,” said Kevin Young, executive director of The Timbers of Shorewood. “Her commitment to our residents is unwavering, and her friendly spirit makes her a cherished part of our community. We’re incredibly grateful for her 20 years of service.”

Pfoser’s long-standing career is a testament to The Timbers’ strong culture of employee loyalty. The community has a remarkable history of staff retention, which is largely attributed to the support and involvement of local ownership. The front office staff alone boasts more than 85 years of combined experience, with many long-term employees and leaders providing unmatched stability and support for residents.

The Timbers of Shorewood Senior Living is a rental retirement community that provides senior independent living and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents whose needs may change are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate and compassionate care. Furnished apartments are also available for short-term stays.
