Public service appreciation at Timbers of Shorewood

Kevin Young, Executive Director of the Timbers of Shorwood, welcomes Shorewood Police Chief Phillip Arnold during Timbers of Shorwood Civil Servants luncheon.

The Timbers of Shorewood hosted a civil servant appreciation lunch for Shorewood first responders and village staff. The Shorewood Police Department, Troy Fire Protection District and Paramedics, Village of Shorewood, Troy Township, and public works employees enjoyed a festive taco bar at the Timbers of Shorewood, and staff was able to express their gratitude for the daily work of these public servants.

“This special event honored the heroes who give extraordinary service to the Shorewood community. Public service can be a thankless job, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate these heroes in our community.”
