‘Quality of Life’ Health Seminars

Each month The Timbers of Shorewood Retirement Community hosts educational seminars on health topics important to the senior population. This program is called the “Quality of Life’ health series.

The importance of knowledge and understanding of one’s own health is vitally important. Health experts present a 30 minute program, and residents are given opportunities to ask questions. Following the seminar, healthy refreshments are served in order to give residents time to reflect and discuss the topic.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides senior independent living and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents whose needs may change are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate and compassionate care. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
