Short-Term Stay Rental Retirement Community
Kids are invited to wear costumes to The Timbers of Shorewood’s 12th annual Halloween Spook House from 5 – 10 p.m. Friday, October 19, and 2 – 10 p.m. Saturday, October 20. Adults are invited to the lower level for the Spook House at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Road, Shorewood.
The staff at The Timbers transforms its ballroom into a frightening maze filled with ghastly creatures including skeletons, ghosts, witches, mummies, zombies and reapers.
“This is the 12th anniversary of our Spook House,” said Sheila Reyes, director of marketing for The Timbers. “We are pulling out all the stops so that ghouls and goblins will tremble. We are bringing even scarier monsters and creatures into the maze. We hope everyone will have a great time. I know we do!”
For the small fry
A less scary alternative is the first floor Elms Community Room which will be converted into a Halloween Game Room for children, age five and under. Games and crafts will take place, and refreshments will be served. The Game Room hours are 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, October 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20.
No Scare Spook House
New this year is a special no scare version of the spook house. Go through the spook house with the lights on and no jump scares from 2 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20.
Admission to the Spook House is $10; $3 for children to the Halloween Game Room. All funds raised will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
