It is a wonderful place with very caring employees! I would definitely recommend The Timbers.

My mom stayed at The Timbers while my husband and I went on vacation. Information from the very beginning was clear and all question and concerns were completely answered. Mom truly enjoyed her stay! She said the food was very good, her meds were given to her on time, and the staff were all sooo helpful and kind. She met others who live there permanently and they truly love it there. Happy people! I wouldn't hesitate to have her visit again. She enjoyed the entertainment and being with people who she could relate with. Thank you staff for your excellence in her care!

Very gracious and helpful staff. This is a very clean open facility. There is accommodations for seniors who are independent, people who need a bit of assistance, and people who need a lot of assistance.

My mother moved in last fall. She loves it. She has plenty of activities to attend. She has made friends. Her physical therapist and visiting nurse have been wonderful. She goes to the salon weekly for her hair. Everyone working at the Timbers is wonderful. Iris at the front desk and Mark in maintenance have really helped her out. She has an apartment she is comfortable in. The Timbers has done an outstanding job keeping residents safe with COVID. They are also working to keep socialization going. Perfect place for my mother. My sister and I are really happy that our Mom choose and moved into Timbers.
Update: My mom lived at the Timbers for 4 years. She made great friends. She had lots of activities to choose from. As her interests changed, there were activities to become involved with. The Timbers definitely add to my Mom's quality of life.

Feels like home for my Father.

My mom is a new resident at the Timbers of Shorewood and is acclimating very well. She's meeting new people while participating in many of the daily activities available to the residents. I am so pleased to see her engaging and enjoying life again. The staff has been kind and attentive to not only her needs but receptive to my concerns as well. It was the right choice for us!

My Grandma and Grandpa lived at Timbers for over 4 years and they loved it! My family and I loved it too. They have such an amazing staff and have so many fun events for residents and family members. My Aunt also lives at Timbers and loves it too! I would recommend Timbers to anyone!

My mother moved in 2 months ago and absolutely loves this place. She loves the people and all the activities that the staff arranges each week.

My parents moved into the Timbers in October 2022, nearly 2 years ago. It has been a wonderful experience for them! I cannot say enough about the staff. Every single staff member has treated my parents with respect and care, including the front desk, the office staff, the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant, the activities people and the gentlemen who work to maintain the facilities. The food in the restaurant is very good - I enjoy joining them for dinner on occasion! The activities director, Amy, works so hard to make sure there is always something fun to do. She goes above and beyond to make things special! Sadly, my dad passed away 4 months ago and my mom is now there by herself. But she is never alone. She can always find a smiling, caring face. And many of the staff members cared enough to come to my dad's visitation to pay their respects. In nearly 2 years we have had enough time to make a fair judgment, and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I highly recommend!

My Mom ( Deanna Carlson) absolutely LOVED living at the Timbers Shorewood for 6 years! She said staff were like family. She always felt safe while still maintaining her independence. She had the nicest apartment with the BEST view!! We were happy she made lots of friends and enjoyed the activities, while getting plenty of exercise walking the beautiful grounds around the Timbers. Our family is grateful for the opportunity she had to live out the last years of her life in such a wonderful place. 💞

My mother has been at The Timbers since November. She has received exceptional care and attention. All the choices of activities has brought some spark back in her! The food is exceptional and there is so many choices to choose from. The entire facility is extremly clean. Everyone you meet from the front desk to maintence makes you feel welcomed.

Stacy was the first person we met when my sister and I visited Timbers with my mom; she’s very helpful and good at her job! The rest of the staff are also friendly and kind to my mom. My mom has a routine there and loves her little apartment and we’re very grateful that she still has a social life even though she doesn’t drive anymore !

We absolutely loved this place for Mom. From our initial tour and through her entire stay every employee there was always happy, smiling and so helpful. They took exceptional care of Mom and her needs. We would highly recommend the Timbers to anyone looking for assisted living.

My mother loved every minute that she lived at Timbers. All of the staff was so kind and caring for her wellbeing. They always made sure that she had activities that suited her interests.

The Timbers has been a great place for your mom. The apartment is perfect and she is getting out of her room for meals and a variety of activities. She’s meeting people and has transitioned very well! So appreciative of the friendly staff and the services available!

My Mom is so happy to be living at the Timbers! She feels safe, loves the staff and especially loves the food. My only regret is that we didn't move her there sooner

My husband and I have lived here for 4 months and we are so grateful our children looked around to find the best place for us. The staff couldn't be more helpful and all the residents are so friendly. The restaurant serves the most delicious meals and there are too many actitivies to mention. Thankful to be here.

Our Mom is now living in the assisted side at the timbers. My mom loves it there and they are so good with my Mom.

My husband and I moved into our apartment 4.5 months ago. It's been a wonderful experience. We maintain our independent lives, but if we need help, it's readily available. I can't say enough about the staff! Our first night we ventured into the dining room for dinner. Our waitress knelt down to be at eye level with us! That simple movement left a huge impression. The activities are many and varied. I learned I can't do everything. although a part of me wanted to! If you have an idea, the Activities Director, Amy, is open to hearing it. She'll work with you to make it happen. The residents are friendly and welcoming. Overall, it's a great place to live and we're glad we made the move.

I like the Timbers. I think things are well-run and management seems genuinely concerned for the safety of the residents and staff. Public areas are well-maintained. The reason I did not give five stars was because I expected, as did my mom, a lot more activities. I understand Covid has played a role, but it’s time to get a full schedule of activities going. I am really disappointed that the selection is so very limited.Covid is not going away. Had I known it was going to take so long to get things rolling I would have considered some other facilities.
